Who best knows how to improve health care for women? Other women.
The Women’s Surgical Leadership Initiative (WSLI) makes this possible through:
Providing a forum for female medical professionals to tackle issues specific to women’s care
Opening more woman-to-woman dialog between patients and practitioners
Focusing exclusively on the unique role women in medicine have when it comes to improving health care for their fellow women
AIMIS has launched the Women’s Surgical Leadership Initiative (WSLI), an effort wherein the female medical practitioners of AIMIS collaborate to tackle tough issues specific to women’s care, foster open communication between patients and practitioners, and explore new ways women can improve health care for women. WSLI is led by Dr. Lori Warren. One of the recognized experts in Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopic Surgery, Dr. Warren has trained surgeons the world over in laparoscopic techniques. Throughout her career, she has worked to reduce unnecessary abdominal “open” hysterectomies in the United States.
Join the WSLI now. Because when it comes to health care for women, it’s up to us .
